Most recently, Gerry led our library through the pandemic closing and opening processes, enabling the Library to continue to service our patrons during that difficult time. Gerry was active on many committees, and she provided knowledgeable and experienced leadership helping to keep libraries as an invaluable learning, educational, and meeting resource in our Borough and throughout the County. Over the years, Gerry took on leadership roles in BCCLS, the Bergen County consortium of libraries. Those successes led to her promotion to Library Director in 2003.Īs Library Director, Gerry was instrumental in our major capital campaign that significantly expanded our attractive facility. Gerry joined our Library in 1982 as Children's Librarian and developed an excellent collection of books and fun learning programs that children not only enjoyed then, but still speak about glowingly today.
